Your Profile:
The Hospital Moving Coordinator is a highly organized, proactive, and solutions-driven professional who thrives in fast-paced and complex environments. They possess strong coordination and communication skills, can manage multiple priorities effectively, and remain calm under pressure. The individual is detail-oriented, collaborative, and capable of working with various stakeholders to ensure projects, timelines, and operational goals are successfully achieved.

Requirements:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Facility Management, Healthcare Administration, or a related field;
- A minimum of five (5) years’ experience in project coordination, procurement, logistics, or transition management, preferably within healthcare or similarly complex environment;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, project management tools (e.g., MS Project), and AutoCAD;
- Knowledge of medical equipment and healthcare operational workflows is considered an asset;
- Professional certifications such as PMP or CHFM would be advantageous.
- Direct experience with large-scale facility relocations or activation projects is strongly preferred.
Tasks:
- Develop and coordinate a detailed master move schedule for the transition to SMGH;
- Conduct gap analyses to determine asset, equipment, and supply needs for SMGH;
- Develop and manage Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and Service-Level Agreements (SLAs) related to moving and transition services;
- Create and maintain a comprehensive inventory and tracking system for all equipment designated for relocation;
- Coordinate orientation and training sessions for staff regarding the location and operation of equipment within the new environment;
- Develop and implement clear communication plans to keep all levels of staff informed regarding move timelines, processes, expectations, and individual responsibilities.

With more than 425 FTE’s, 28 Specialists and a capacity of 80 beds, we continuously strive to ensure safe, quality health care. Our primary service area of St. Maarten, Statia and Saba, represents a total population of approximately 60.000 people, constituting a multi-cultural mix with more than 100 different nationalities. In addition, we also offer health care services to the two million visitors annually. SMMC is constructing the new St. Maarten General Hospital (SMGH) to expand its services in order to accommodate the increased care demand of the people of St. Maarten, its visitors and neighboring islands.
