Medical Staff Bureau Officer

As Medical Staff Bureau Officer (MSBO), you support the Medical Staff Bureau in recruiting, onboarding, and coordinating matters related to medical specialists. You are instrumental in ensuring that all processes align with applicable laws and regulations for establishing medical professionals. Additionally, you are service-oriented, discreet, and capable of managing multiple priorities. Your role helps ensure the seamless operation of the bureau and supports the hospital’s strategic goals.

• Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Human Resources or a related field;

• A minimum of two years’ experience in healthcare administration, medical staff support, or a similar administrative role;

• Excellent organizational and coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines;

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and experienced in maintaining accurate records, reports, and confidential documentation;

• Fluency in English. Knowledge of Dutch is considered an asset.

• Provide administrative and operational support to the Medical Staff, including maintaining confidential records, credentialing documentation, and medical staff databases;

• Coordinate applications and renewals for medical licenses, work permits, residency permits, and other regulatory documentation for medical staff.

• Schedule medical staff and specialty group meetings, prepare agendas, take accurate minutes and monitor completion of action items;

• Support the recruitment, onboarding, scheduling, and workforce planning of medical

specialists to ensure continuity of patient care;

• Arrange Continuing Medical Education (CME) activities, symposia and lectures in close cooperation with medical specialists;

• Serve as a point of contact for internal partners and affiliated organizations.
